Dr. Shashikala Karanth is a distinguished Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over two decades of medical and academic experience. She earned her MBBS in 1993, followed by a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology in December 1998 from the renowned Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. She later qualified with a DNB (Obstetrics & Gynecology), equivalent to MD, recognized by the Ministry of Health, Government of India. She has held various significant roles in reputed institutions and currently serves as a Professor and HOD at St. John’s Medical College Hospital and a Director at Hamsaraga Hospital, Bangalore.
